This is a Lavochkin La-5FN.
The original camouflage is from Steve Day, while the 3dz work is from Captain Kurt. See below his original Read-me file.
I have done this skin only for 3dfx video cards.

I added the yellow rudder, the HSU medal, the patriotic inscriptions, victory markings and the sharkmouth.
It is intended as a personalyzed skin for use online, and it is dedicated to everyone who loves to fly the Lavochkin fighters in EAW.

Enjoy!

EAW Lavochkin La5FN

Steve Day has provided a new green and black camouflage skin for this model. This plane has common type markings from an unknown Soviet V.V.S. unit in 1943. These skins are 3dfx compatible. This is a D3D skin.

This model uses the new La5FN 3DZ which I developed - starting with the old PAW Ki84 3DZ model. Very little is left of that. It has been completely reshaped and redesigned to an accurate La5FN model. There are also new 3DZ files for distance view models, a new shadow, and the fuselage and tail are now non-mirroring as well. It is intended for use with Charles Gunsts ECAPanel, using the Typhoon slot. Fly it in Emils "Caucuses Campaign"
add-on.

I had some big help to resolve some early 3dz problems and when running it in Glide, from Charles Gunst, Geo, and Steve Day.

The cockpit was originally done by Stefan Wikstrom (Hynkel) for the older La5s (PAW Ki-84 based). It has been adapted with new wing view to work with this model and Steve's skins.

To use just install the TPC and 3DZ files into your EAW folder.

Cheers,

Captain Kurt
